Roland started his career in antiques as a very young collector and quickly made a name for himself in trade circles. With a wide range of specialties, Roland is an asset to the Moran team in his flexibility. His broad knowledge of property and the ability to research and catalogue all types of objects. It is Roland’s professional acumen and can-do attitude that has clients asking for him time and again.

Roland’s true passion for clocks and watches also has him working closely with Moran’s Jewelry Department. In his role as Estates Auction Director, Roland is responsible for overseeing each of Moran’s ten Decorative Art Auctions held throughout the year, as well as for coordinating Moran’s free monthly walk-in appraisal days for the local community.

Roland earned an Advanced Certificate in 20th Century Decorative Art and Appraising from New York University. He regularly prepares formal valuations for insurance and fair-market purposes.

Having grown up in the shadow of the San Gabriels, Roland has a fondness for the outdoors that he shares with his wife and two daughters.
