Maranda Moran

Maranda Moran has been in the antique and fine art business since 1993.

Prior to joining Moran’s, Maranda owned and operated an antique business in Pasadena, CA specializing in fine and decorative arts from the turn of the century to the 1950s. For over ten years, she assisted in building many notable collections in Southern California with rare or hard to find objects d’art.

Since 2003, Maranda has used her creative vision to stage and set all of John Moran’s live auctions as well as being responsible for the design/build of the company’s new state-of-the-art headquarters in Old Town Monrovia, CA. She has also worked as a liaison between many of the charitable partners for whom Moran’s provides pro bono auction services. Her daily activities include client relations, evaluating incoming property, appraisal functions, and spearheading special projects.

Maranda graduated from the University of California – Los Angeles with a degree in History/Art History. She has done post-baccalaureate study in Interior Architecture at UCLA.

Maranda is Uniform Standard in Professional Appraisal Practice qualified.

When not at work, she can be found crafting or adventuring with her family.
