Post-War and Contemporary Fine Art Specialist
Bree is a Specialist for Post-War and Contemporary Art who has strong relationships with advisors and private collectors alike. Prior to joining John Moran, Bree worked for over six years at Artnet Auctions in New York and Los Angeles, where she contributed some of the most successful online sales of established and emerging artists. Bree has also held positions at Madison Museum of Contemporary Art and Sotheby’s New York. Her experiences in both auction houses and museums give her keen insight on the complexities of the art world and a wide perspective on collections. She specializes in several preeminent artists of the post-war period such as Henri Cartier Bresson, Ansel Adams, John Stuart Curry, Ed Ruscha, Keith Haring, Diane Arbus as well as contemporary painting and photography by artists such as Gerhard Richter, Richard Prince, Thomas Demand, Robert Mapplethorpe, Nan Goldin, Wolfgang Tillmans, Sally Mann, and Cindy Sherman.
Bree graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a B.A. in Art History. She completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Fine and Decorative Arts at Sotheby’s Institute in London. Bree is an active member of Art Table Southern California and POWarts.
